Kimberley began her dance training in Sydney under Dawn and Joy Ransley, and was fortunate to be chosen to dance on numerous occasions as a child performer with ‘The Australian Ballet Company’. Kimberley also danced annually in ‘Christmas at the Opera House’ and for many years was a member of ‘The Sydney Youth Ballet Company.

In Brisbane she continued her training and obtained her Advanced Certificate with ‘The Royal Academy of Dance’ and was principal dancer with the ‘Ballet Theatre of Queensland Company”. Kimberley danced in many Ballets including: Le Beau Danube “Street Dancer”, Tanabata, The Waltz, Pas de Six, Snow Scenes “Red Skater”, Les Sylphides, Coppelia “Dawn”, Sylvia, Symphony in C and Garth Welch’s production of Beauty and the Beast just to name a few.

In 2013 Kimberley performed with THE BOLSHOI BALLET in “Le Corsaire”.

After dancing in World Expo 88 (Bligh’s Follies- Aquacade Show) working with choreographers Robyn Moase and John O’Connell (Strictly Ballroom, Romeo & Juliet), Kimberley also danced in Stage an TV productions in Australia, United Kingdom, Japan, Hong Kong (Dance Captain) and was lead dancer at Disneyland.

Kimberley also enjoyed a successful career in Irish National Dancing achieving, five times Australian Irish Figure Dancing Champion and five times N.S.W. Irish Figure Dancing Champion.

With 30 years teaching experience in Hong Kong (Danceland), Japan (Professional Dance Centre), England (Freelance teacher) and Australia, Kimberley is an Associate and Registered Teacher with ‘The Royal Academy of Dance’ London and since 2011 a “mentor” for RAD Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS), and an affiliated member of ‘The Australian Teachers of Dancing Association’.

Kimberley is Chairperson of The South-East Queensland Panel of The Royal Academy of Dance.
