Background:
An emotionally charged and thought-provoking production, *Seven is guaranteed to get the blood rushing with its passionate themes of love, jealousy and betrayal!
Winner of the 2008 Adelaide Fringe Award for Best Dance, Seven tells the story of seven people who share a common but unfortunate trait – they are all in love with the illusion of love. In its unique interpretation of the ‘Snow White’ fairy tale – Seven questions every aspect of its storyline. Was Snow White actually a spoilt brat? Did she perhaps suffer from a father-fixation complex? Why do step-mothers get such bad press and - most importantly – do all princes fall in love at first sight?
Seven will be a showcase for Leigh Warren & Dancers’ new line-up for 2009 which includes long-time members: Jo Roads and Deon Hastie plus several new faces: Lizzie Vilmanis, Christopher Hewitt, Natalie Allen, Lachlan Bell and Anthony Trojman.
*Please note this show contains occasional coarse language and adult themes.
