Whether it’s Glee-style performance classes or technique based ballet workshops, The Neutral Bay School of Dance provides unsurpassed dance education which focuses on bringing out the best in each student.
The Neutral Bay School of Dance has been operating since 1980, making it the longest running dance school on the Lower North Shore. Recognising the importance of technique combined with personal expression, the school offers a comprehensive program all taught by enthusiastic and highly experienced industry professionals.
Accommodating beginner to advanced students, The Neutral Bay School of Dance has classes in classical ballet, lyrical contemporary, jazz, hip hop, singing, acrobatics, technique and conditioning at all levels of study for ages 3 years to young adult. All classes are taught within our fully equipped halls that feature an abundance of natural light, soaring ceilings, timber or Stagestep dance floor and viewing areas for parents, who are welcome to watch the last ten minutes of each lesson and viewing weeks throughout the year.

The school offers:
– Pre School Ballet
– Ready Set Dance Preschool Program (Jazz Hip Hop Singing combo class)
– Ballet classes in the RAD syllabus with the opportunity to enter examinations.
– Open classes: (no exam) in jazz, hip hop, contemporary, glee club (singing + dance), acrobatics and technique and conditioning.
– Mid year performance: an informal showcase which acts as a fundraiser for our charity
-End of year Performance: formal performance held at the Shore Performing Arts Centre in North Sydney.
-Performance Group and solo choreography for local eisteddfods and community events.
– Workshops and guest classes with high profile professional dancers and choreographers.
