Four purpose built studios and pilates room …
The purpose built studios ensure that the students learn in a safe environment that is correctly built for training dancers of all ages.
All studios have fully equipped sound systems, correctly sprung dance flooring, fitted barres and mirrors. Studios are also fitted with tarkett flooring and airconditioning.
Safety first …
The studio boasts plenty of parking and each studio is fitted with a security gate to ensure no children of a young age leave the studio without a parent.
Flood lighting has also been installed to ensure carpark safety at night.
Technique is taught safely with all teachers having an understanding of anatomy and how it applies to dance. Movement and music is specifically chosen and is age appropriate for each stage of their body development.
Comforts of home …
The students also have access to Wifi to assist with completing their homework, restrooms, kettle, microwave, fridge and kitchen.

Dance education is an ongoing process, one that continues throughout a dancers career. The development of self motivation, self discipline, grace, respect and appreciation for the arts will help any student immeasurably in whatever path lies ahead.
To succeed and be the best dancer the students can be they need to be flexible, open and willing to work hard. Precision cannot be acquired quickly and beauty does not come easily. At Joanne Grace School Of Dance we aim to strengthen not only the dancers body but also the spirit of our students. We provide a caring environment for the education and training of our dancers. The rich and varied training ensures the students are given a sound knowledge of diverse dance styles and genres.
The ability to bring in guest teachers who specialise in different dance techniques reinforces and expands on the high standard of work being undertaken at the school. Any parent can feel confident that their child will receive the highest standard of teaching and that our training methods are safe and our teachers well informed.

Meet the team…
Principal Joanne Grace-Morgan is the most highly qualified studio teacher in the Illawarra holding a Bachelor of Applied Arts – Dance/Drama and a Bachelor of Education. Along with a Teachers Diploma from RAD and a Teachers Certificate, A.R.A.D status, Certificate IV Assessment and Training and a Masters of Teaching Degree.
Joanne is a member of the Australian Dance Adjudicators Association and actively adjudicates at eisteddfods in all styles of dance. Read more
