DANCE VENTURE was founded in 1980 and over the last 33 years has taught many promising young dancers, some of whom have achieved international recognition in competitions and major ballet companies. Former students now work in every field of dance: professional dancers, choreographers, teachers, arts administrators.

We have a highly qualified and experienced teaching staff with assistants who can offer individual help in the junior classes. Dance Venture offers a variety of dance courses for children and adults, accommodating both the recreational and serious student. There is an opportunity to undertake Royal Academy of Dance ballet examinations (at all levels) and we have complimentary and exciting courses in contemporary dance and jazz ballet for all ages. We also mentor student teachers.

There are many opportunities for all students to perform throughout the year, both internally in choreographic evenings and concerts and externally through competitions, bookings and our own school performances.

Dance Venture provides a friendly, safe and encouraging environment for all who come to our school and boasts a richly multi-cultural population of students. Many students have developed life-long friendships both with their teachers and other students.

OUR STUDIOS

Our new Willetton premises were opened in May 1998. Located in Willetton, Western Australia the studios are air-conditioned and mirrored with the remaining walls displaying photographs of past productions and students of the school. The studios have a custom made suspended wooden floor suitable for dance and exercise classes with a tarkett surface made especially for dance.
